My name is Etty Payne, I am a fully-qualified practitioner of the Metamorphic Technique and a practitioner member of the Metamorphic Association. I trained with Elaine Miller in Dorset and Gaston St.Pierre, the founder of the Metamorphic Technique, in London.

I am also a certified practitioner of the BodyTalk System and a practitioner member of the International BodyTalk Association.

I live and practice in Farnborough on the Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire borders, with my husband and 2 daughters.

Although my interests as I was growing up were in science and medicine, with my cosmopolitan and multi-lingual background I found myself studying languages at university.

I worked in France for many years as a translator from French, Spanish and Portuguese into English in an international organisation, and read the British Medical Journal, the Lancet and the New Scientist for fun !

Despite my highly sceptical nature, complementary medicine increasingly grabbed my interest, and I completed a 3-year course of study in Traditional Chinese Medicine in France. However I never practised it fully as there was too much scope for damaging the client, either with the acupuncture needles, the highly potent herbs or simply from mis-diagnosis.

After many years of trying out a number of other complementary therapies, I realised I was still looking for something that was highly effective, natural and completely safe but that could also be explained scientifically.

Personal experience showed me that the Metamorphic Technique and BodyTalk both fitted the bill beautifully….hence my decision to practise them both.

Neither of these approaches to healthcare are particularly well known in the United Kingdom, I therefore welcome invitations to give introductory talks to any interested groups.
